About the Author
Yogamoo and Pregnancy Yoga is owned and run by Laurence Turner. Laurence Turner is a French National. She lived in France until she graduated from Lille Business School. She moved over to the UK and lived in London while taking a Master Degree in Foreign Affairs. She pursued a carreer in the electronics and IT industry in sales, product marketing, and supply chain positions in North America and the UK. She first encountered Yoga when returning to England in 2002 in London. She enrolled herself with various teachers and classes several times a week. She attended courses, retreats and several Yoga and Meditation workshops in South London, some of which were based at the Putney Sivananda Centres and at that time became aware of their Teachers Training Programme. Laurence continued to study and practice Yoga with Instructor Brenda Brown attaining a Yoga Alliance recognised Diploma. A little while after the birth of their daughter Luz, Laurence decided to qualify to teach Pregnancy Yoga. Laurence continues to train regularly with master teachers in the Iyengar tradition as well as continuously developing her knowledge and practice in Pregnancy Yoga, Postnatal Yoga and other specialised disciplines within these areas. Laurence’s passion for helping people and her calm nature through empathy allows her to fulfil her lifelong dream to enable individuals to succeed and progress in both mind and body.
